Overview

For nearly a century, the Gilles family has mastered the art of copper crafting, earning recognition from the Heritage Council of Quebec. Their legacy began with Albert Gilles, the visionary behind the stunning copper doors of the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. Today, five talented women of the family continue his work, creating intricate metal masterpieces. Their craftsmanship has adorned churches across North America and even caught the attention of Pope Pius XII and Walt Disney. Visit their boutique and museum to witness this rare art form in action—and craft your very own copper piece to take home!
